Adam Volek, Principal

First off, I have an amazing family and enjoy spending time going on adventures with them. We moved to the Valley a few years back and have enjoyed every minute of it. I originally grew up in a small Arizona town and had my first teaching job in Phoenix. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Denver, taught and eventually became a principal. I have been in education for over 20 years now. I had the unique opportunity of opening Riverview and being part of our founding team. Riverview is a special place and I am inspired daily by our crew who demonstrates so much care for one another and our kids. Our school is based on equitable and inclusive practices and we strive to make sure that everyone is respected and feels welcome the minute they step on campus. As a dual language school, we focus on the 3 pillars of dual language education: Sociocultural competencies, high academic achievement and bilingualism. I am so proud of all our kids are able to do with their language, their academic growth and how wonderful and kind they are with one another.
