Mrs. Harmon | 4th Grade English
New to the valley, I grew up in Huntington, West Virginia, where I went to college at Marshall University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have spent the past 6 years in Florida, teaching in Sarasota. I have taught 3rd and 5th grade, and this is my third year teaching 4th grade. I am excited to be at Riverview and look forward to being a part of this awesome community! Aside from teaching, my husband and I love taking out dog out for hikes! I have been loving the outdoor activities there are to do here.
Ms. Mikol | 4th Grade Spanish
Having grown up in Winter Park, CO, I am so thrilled to be back in the mountains and to have the opportunity to teach at a school as unique and amazing as Riverview! I attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO and received my MA in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from Adams State University. Previously, I have taught English in Spain and bilingual 2nd and 3rd grade in Denver. I am passionate about dual language education and believe that Riverview fills an incredibly important role as a community-driven school in the Roaring Fork Valley. When not in the classroom, I love rafting, skiing, hiking, reading, traveling and spending as much time outside as possible!
